MLB Baseball Daily Picks- April 6, 2024

Yesterday’s Recap:

Action packed Friday yesterday, and a very competitive day on the field as eight games were decided by two runs or less, six of those were one run wins, and three of those were walk-off wins for the home team. One of those was the Atlanta Braves, but their night was bittersweet as Spencer Strider left his Friday night start early with elbow discomfort and will undergo an MRI on Saturday to see the severity of it. The Brewers were another one of those walk off wins, as they were walked four times in the bottom of the ninth in their 6-5 home win over Seattle. The Rangers didn’t need such a thing, as they pummeled the Astros in a rematch of last year’s ALCS with Cody Bradford shutting down the Astros on the way to his second win of the season.

Favorites went 8-5 OTD with quite a few of them being heavy favorites. The Cubs though, were one of the biggest dogs of the day at +160 as they smoked Bobby Miller and the Dodgers and sent him to the showers after 1.2 innings pitched. The Blue Jays at +132 were another decent dog to win yesterday, as the bullpen did a wonderful job of shutting down the Yankees bats the whole game in their 3-0 road win. Totals landed at 7-6 O/U for Friday.

In our Daily Picks, we had another crappy day. Can’t have a good day in both Moneyline or Totals, it’s always one or the other. Yesterday we went 12-14, -3.50 units at -13.45% ROI for the day. We went 4-9 OTD in Totals for -5.39u which is where we got hurt the most.

Today’s Weather Report:

Nice weather throughout most of the country for Saturday. Only issues with rain (or snow if you’re Pittsburgh) will be in Kansas City, where they might not be able to complete the whole game today, and Colorado for Rays @ Rockies has a major wind impact on the game with gust up to 50-60 mph going across the field with sustained winds of 35-40 mph.
