NBA Playoffs Daily Picks- May 2, 2024

Wednesday’s Recap:

Couple of snoozers last night in the NBA as both the Celtics and Mavericks dominated and covered as favorites. Luka Dončić scored 35 points while dishing out 10 dimes in the thirty point drubbing of the Clippers in Los Angeles, their biggest playoff loss in franchise history. The Heat were eliminated after what was a very tough ending to the year with the Jimmy Butler injury. As the offseason approaches, I doubt the Heat will be major players unless they make some trades as they have most of their core coming back under contract, so this will be a tough team once again next season. The Celtics await the winner of the Magic and Cavaliers series.

Favorites went 2-0 for Wednesday night after going 0-3 ATS on Tuesday. Home teams are now 29-15 SU in the playoffs and 22-22 ATS while totals are at 19-25 O/U. Favorites are 30-14 SU as well, and 23-21 ATS. Home favorites are 24-9 SU and 17-16 ATS for the playoffs while home dogs are 5-6 SU and ATS so far.

Wednesday’s Picks:

We went .500 on the record for the third straight day, so that means we lost to the juice once again. We went 2-2, -0.18 units at a -4.50% ROI for Wednesday. We’re now 46-41-1, +0.86 units at a +0.98% ROI for the entire playoffs. We’re 23-21 ATS and 23-20-1 on Totals picks.

Below are our NBA Picks for May 2nd, 2024:

We’ve only got two games tonight but they’re both huge Eastern Conference game six elimination games. The Knicks try to bounce back after blowing game five at the Garden. Should be another good matchup between Maxey and Brunson tonight and I expect this one to keep living up to expectations this series has brung in terms of excitement, play and passion.

The Bucks will keep trying to fight with a hand behind its back as it looks to force a game seven against the Pacers. Khris Middleton has been a steady rock for the Bucks without their superstars as he is averaging 26.8 PPG, 9.4 RPG, and 5.0 APG so far in the series.
